Extreme Duress

I have been under extreme duress regarding a bunch of issues. If these issues were tallied on a stress chart; the amount of the stress enhancers that top the list would be incredible. To make a long story short, and without going into detail about the nature of the problems…. I cannot have a natural bowel movement and I have determined that the cause is stress related. Recently I quit drinking coffee and that’s when I noticed that I couldn’t go. I am taking lactulose as a stool softener, but I would like to go naturally again. Also there has been no relief or resolution to the problems that are stressing me out. I may need some helpful relaxation techniques as well as herbal help in elimination. BTW, I get plenty of water and fiber and have tried casa sagrada and pysillium. I need relief.   (more…)

Constipation is an often overlooked hypothyroidism symptom. Most people are familiar with the more common symptoms and signs of primary hypothyroidism, which may be quite subtle and insidious in onset. The main ones are fatigue and cold intolerance, which may be prominent. In addition, the facial expression is dull; the voice is hoarse and speech is slow; facial puffiness, especially around the eyes; ; eyelids droop; hair is sparse, coarse, and dry; and the skin is coarse, dry, scaly, and thick.
