Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NJUCM) was established in 1954 in Nanjing, the ancient capital throughout ten dynasties, and is one of the oldest TCM institutions of higher learning in China. It is located in the west part of the city, adjacent to the beautiful Black Dragon Lake.
Being one of the World Health Organization Collaborative (WHO) Centers on Traditional Medicine, NJUCM is authorized by the Chinese Ministry of Public Health to be an International Acupuncture Training Center. It is also a Training Base for TCM teachers, a clinical pharmacology base and one of the first authorized TCM universities to enroll and train overseas students. At present, there are about 6000 students studying on campus, including over 1000 Master and Doctoral students and over 1000 overseas students. (more…)

Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SDUTCM), founded in 1958, is known as one of the most famous TCM universities in China. It is comprised of two campuses covering an area of 129.53 hectares. The old campus is located in Jinan—the capital of Shandong province, at the beautiful foot of Qian Fo Shan (1000 Budda Mountain). Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (GZHUTCM), now Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (GZHUCM), established in 1956, is one of the four oldest TCM institutes of  higher education in China. It was originally administered by the Ministry of Health and the State Administration of TCM, and is one of the first educational institutes approved to award master’s and doctor’s degree in China. In October 1998, the university was listed as a key university by central and provincial government for developing its key disciplines within national “211 Program” (a program launched by Chinese Ministry of Education and aiming to establish about 100 internationally well-known Chinese universities in the 21st century) during the period of China national “ninth five-year plan”. In the same year, our university became one of the first national postgraduate clinical medicine degree tentative universities.
